I have been teaching music lessons in Anchorage for the past 25 years. I have a B.A. in Elementary Education with an emphasis in Music. I teach all students to read music, using various methods, train their ears to hear and play music, and teach writing music. Students who can write and read music as well as play by ear are equipped to enjoy a lifetime of music. Recitals are held every February. We perform for assisted living residents a few times a year. Students are expected to participate in an adjudication with MTNA in November and the National Piano Guild each spring.
Lessons are able to be held in person or online.
Lessons will cost $30 per ½ hour. A $50/family fee will be collected to hold your lesson time for the fall and cover recital and tuning expenses. I offer lessons on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 9am-2 pm. Please fill out the CONTACT FORM with any questions or to schedule an interview.
